A day after his birthday, Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy has released a new song titled Chizoba, where he acknowledges the presence of God in his life. ‘Chizoba’, which translates to ‘God saves’ is a mellow joint that has Rudeboy talking to God as he recounts events in his life and prays for blessings upon his family. This is one record that has the potentials to become a really huge song in his solo career.

Disgraced coming out from Nigerians big artist, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage flop In South Africa But D’Banj Saved The Day

Over the weekend, the Global Citizen festival took place in South Africa. But a couple of things went wrong from the angle of two of Nigeria’s biggest artistes, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage. A concerned Nigerian has reached out to music listeners on calibrating mediocrity. The guy took the singers apart following their shameful outing at the festival. Below is what he had to say.

Truth be told, true reporting is dead in Nigeria. No more critical review. We celebrate mediocre here in Nigeria. See wizkid performing on stage and seemed like no one was here. He was just walking and couldnt connect with the crowd. Infact, there was no communication with his DJ that he had to tell him twice to increase the tempo because the truth is, they were not feeling your wizkid!

Then Tiwa Savage…my Doro Tiwa went on stage to further embarrass the nation Naija further. Tiwa’s hypeman was shouting too much and drowning her voice on her own stage. It was a poor sight to behold! A Niniola or Yemi Alade would have shut the stage down with mesmerizing performances. A Davido, yes, same frog-voice Davido would have lit the stage on fire even with his ‘noise’. Though less vocal than Wizkid but his energy up and down any stage would have caused some havoc. Good havoc! the Tubaba would have on a ‘FIA’ level.
Then came the legendary Femi Kuti and perform true to his billing and to the rescue of his counterpart. Then came again the most incredible entertainer out of Africa, Dbanj. He was a million star on the stage. His stagecraft was electrifying. They loved his stage presence and could go on and on if there was time. Infact a South African lady mentioned that although Dbanj needs to enter studio with a good producer who will help make a hit, he had a star power that was rare among performing artistes.

“The truth is what sells our artistes here in Nigeria is just PR. No more critical review. Imagine wizkid saying live on stage, ‘let’s drop the African biggest song of the year in 2018’ and went on to play ‘soco’. That tha heck!! Who dashed him or the song biggest song of the year. Same mediocre artistes will be carting the highest numbers of awards every year when we have music power houses here in this country but never give the right platform or PR to shine! Once some of our so called big artistes drop songs, go to social media and come and see comments hailing some of those wackos and gibberish jingles that radio and TV stations would wash down our throat. Live performance at the Global Citizen concert really exposed some of our so-called African biggest artistes!

Wizkid Sends Death Threat To Bouncer Who Matcheted His Bodyguard - We Go Kill You!”

Nigerian music star, Wizkid has reacted to report of a Club DNA bouncer who macheted his bodyguard defending him at the club. The incident occurred shortly after Wizkid’s bodyguard waded into an argument at club DNA, which denied that the Nigerian music star bought the Lamborghini Urus he recently showed off on Instagram.

Image result for WIZ KID Those present at the club claimed that the music star was owing the club millions of Naira for drinks bought on credit, and so couldn’t afford to buy a car. However Roy who defended his boss, further stated that Wizkid will clear his debt when he returns to the country. The heated argument reportedly left him butchered by a suspect who fled immediately.

The suspect who is currently on the run, is said to be a bouncer at the club. Wizkid’s bodyguard who was seen talking to the owner shortly after the incident, was reportedly rushed to an undisclosed hospital where is currently recuperating. Wizkid who took to Twitter to react to the report, wrote; “Run nigga cos we go kill you”

As against the initial report that Wizkid’s bodyguard, Roy Emmanuel, escaped being macheted to death while defending his boss, the club has released a statement to deny the report.

To whom it may concern, It has been brought to our notice that news circulating stating Wizkid’s bouncer (Roy) was attacked at CLUB DNA and related to Wizkid’s outstanding bills at the club.

We would like to make clarification that it was a situation of indiscipline on both side . Roy works at Club dna as the chief bouncer and the accused also work at the same club as an MC. Altercation happened when both staffs were talking to a senior staff and both started an argument and rapidly rose to a fight. The matter is now been handled by the Nigerian Police and they are getting to the matter. 

We would like to clarify that Wizkid’s outstanding bill has nothing to do with this fight. It was a situation of two staffs indiscipline act. Wizkid’s outstanding bill is a different issue to be addressed separately and vividly.

Father defiles 2-year-old daughter, infects her with STD

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday arrested one Peter Adida for allegedly defiling his 2-year-old daughter.

 The suspect is a resident of No.9 Oyetayo Olafisoye street Westwood estate, Badore, Ajah, Lagos.  The Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti in a statement on Tuesday confirmed the incident. Oti said that a medical report had confirmed that the toddler was penetrated and infected with a sexually transmitted disease Oti said, “The Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Langbasa Police Station, SP Ada Okafor, on Saturday, November 11, 2018, arrested Peter Adida of No. 9 Oyetayo Olafisoye Street, Westwood Estate, Badore, Ajah, Lagos for allegedly defiling his two-year-old daughter. “Preliminary medical report indicated that there was penetration and that the baby was infected.
When questioned by the female officer on who did it, the baby pointed at her father and was able to describe various sex positions with the dad. “The Commissioner of a Police, Lagos state, Edgal Imohimi, has directed that the matter be transferred to the gender section for further investigation. “He admonishes parents and guardians to watch their children closely as predators are on the increase.” Oti added that the suspect would be charged to court soon.

Pythons reportedly fight in front of church while prayer goes on inside

A pastor has concluded that unwanted guests in the form of two big snakes entered his church during a prayer. 

A pastor feels confident in the power of prayer after finding two snakes having a go at each other in a church compound.

 Two pythons reportedly went at each other's throats while a prayer went on inside a church. A clergyman Evangelist Chibuzo Fredrick shares a post on Facebook confirming this. He seemed to have applied this as a sign of spiritual warfare. "After a very hot prayer section this morning, two snakes were found fighting in the front of our church," he writes. In his post shared on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, the snakes appeared dead while a person takes a picture of them.

The new Buhari is fake, reviewed by the indigenous Igbo's leader: Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, on Saturday 10th November, 2018 held what the Pro-Biafran group termed a “Special broadcast” in Israel.

During the broadcast which lasted for about 3hours, Nnamdi Kanu attempted to prove that the present president of Nigeria is an Impostor, as he (Nnamdi Kanu) claims that the real Muhammadu Buhari is dead. Nnamdi Kanu also said that the US president Donald Trump had earlier given a hint when he said: “I do not want to see that lifeless person again”.

The Separatist leader alleged that the present president of Nigeria is a Sudanese impostor named Jubril, who was recruited by Abba Kyari, the Chief of staff to the president, Muhammadu Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu claims that Jubril had undergone surgery inorder to pose as Muhammadu Buhari. He also claims that the real Muhammadu Buhari died on the 27th of January 2018, after undergoing a complicated brain surgery. Amongst the clues he gave to prove that the present president is an impostor includes: Jubril is about 8 inches shorter than Buhari.

Jubril cannot speak Fulfulde the indigenous language of the Fulani’s. Jubril’s hairline hasn’t receded unlike that of Buhari. He hasn’t addressed any live conference since his return from his sick bed. Since the return of the president, Aisha Buhari is not seen anywhere around her supposed husband. Aisha Buhari once told Nigerians not to vote Buhari for a second term.  

Suddenly Buhari doesn’t fall sick anymore and has not gone for medical examination after he had a brain surgery (recall that the president had brain tumour that was affecting his hearing). 

“How can someone who had undergone such a complicated procedure, had a sizeable chunk of his brain removed not require any clinical follow up or examination” Nnamdi Kanu said.Nnamdi Kanu also claims that the ears of Jubril doesn’t look like that of Buhari since they probably forgot to ‘extend silicone’ to the ears.

Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu's son Dede ojukwu is reportedly dead

Chief Sylvester Debe Ojukwu, the first son of the Biafran warlord, late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has reportedly passed on, aged 62.

PDP gave warning to Adoration priest Rev. Far. Ejike Mabaka

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Chief Chinedu Eya has approached the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Valentine Onaga to as an issue of desperation alert Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria AMEN, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, over his inclusion in the development to the 2019 decisions.

Chief Eya, a previous Enugu North senatorial hopeful on the stage of PDP, and National Convener of “Why it must be PDP in 2019” who talked after the red hot Priest portrayed President Muhammadu Buhari and previous Vice President Atiku Abubakar as “change” and “bureau de change” individually, asked why the Rev. Father won’t leave governmental issues for legislators.

He said the priest should center around his command of engendering the gospel and affecting ethics, rather than confounding the political space. Chief Eya noticed that he had thought about ignoring the evangelist’s message, yet chose generally following the errand person’s vitrolics on the office of previous Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whom he depicted as his solitary deal in 2019 decisions.
The PDP chieftain said, “Why is Fr. Mbaka describing my Party’s candidate in the coming elections as ‘bureau de change?’ If the PDP shared money during its primary election as the Rev. Father pointed out in his message, how does it now make a political party’s affairs religious? The Catholic Bishop of Enugu must caution Fr. Mbaka now. Fr. Mbaka was quoted to have said “if anybody is thinking that if Atiku becomes the President of Nigeria, things will get better, ‘who born you’, because for this country to be good, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than this country to be good.”

Mbaka had described Atiku as bureau de change, according to him, because of the foreign currencies that allegedly exchanged hands at the National Convention of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, before the ex-VP emerged the party’s presidential candidate. Mbaka however predicted that Atiku will defeat Buhari in 2019 but warned him not to emulate Buhari if he is elected the president. The fiery cleric said this while addressing his congregation at the Adoration Ground. Mbaka said that Buhari had all the human and material resources at his disposal to make the country better but rather chose to play ethnic, despotic politics. He said,

What will it take you; change the Chief of Staff, change B, change C, change this and change that; even if it will take 20 Igbo men or 20 Yoruba men to change Nigeria; take all of them. Look at what (Chukwuma) Soludo did in the Central Bank; he has assured Nigeria and the whole world that there is nothing like bank collapse again. An Igbo man did this, why can’t Buhari take Soludo for the economic revival and revamping of Nigeria’s economy? And you are busy talking about corruption, playing game with the lives of Nigerians from the issue of Fulani herdsmen to Boko Haram to Jos killings. You said somebody stole, what did he steal?

“Someday, they said the government has spent trillions of naira on social investment scheme and I want to know who are the people they were spending the money on; the Vice President said they are giving N10,000 to small scale businesses and I asked, is this how they will transform Nigeria? You give somebody N10,000 for business, what type of business will N10,000 start?

A talk with new manager to replace Jose Mourinho: ManUnited

Manchested United seems to open door for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino on replacing Jose Mourinho of Old Trafford. 

A club source has confirmed to CoughtOffside that Ed Woodward and co. Have sounded out Pochettino over a future switch to United from their Premier League rivals Spurs.

Despite plenty of talk that Zinedine Zidane could be in line to replace Jose Mourinho, those links have cooled of late and it seems Pochettino is the perfect option.

This was recently claimed by the independent, who suggested other names may also be in the frame, but the impressive Argentine tactician is the leading candidate after his tremendous work in north London. 

Formal Chelsea boss Antonio Conte also appears to be in consideration after his strong work at Stamford Bridge,  though initial contacts have now been made luring Pochettino to United. 

CoughtOffside understands a move for Pochettino in the middle of the season is highly unlikely, though the club are keen to establish as soon as possible if he'd be keen on the job any time soon, perhaps in the summer. 

My understanding is United have started the process of sounding him out for job in the future, even if it's unlikely they'll get him straight away' a club source revealed to CoughtOffside.  There are other candidates but Pochettino is seen as by far the most ideal for the moment. Ed Woodward and others on the board are all in agreement on that'.

The 46-years old has never won a major league trophy unlikly Zidane and Conte, but he has worked on a shoestring budget at Tottenham and turend them into one of most formidable teams in  Europe, making them rugular title contenders and competitors in the Champions League. 

One can only imagine what he'd do with this talented and underachieving Red Davils squad, with Paul Pogba and Alexi Sanches not looking the right fit under Mourinho at all.

Reports have suggested Mourinho may now have just one game to save his job, though the club may also hold off pulling the trigger if they cannot land Pochettino until the summer.
